Digitial X-Rays

How Digital X-Rays Work

A small sensor is placed in your mouth. The sensor is connected to a computer thru a usb cable. Next, an X-ray beam is sent towards the sensor, which records the image of your teeth and sends it to the computer. The sensor can then be repositioned to photograph other sections of your teeth.

Why Digital Dental X-Rays are Better

The digital dental X-ray system is more sensitive than conventional dental X-rays. Your exposure to the radiation is cut by as much as 90 percent. The images on the computer monitor are large and can be color-enhanced so it's easier for you to understand how the doctor will treat your teeth. Photo chemicals and film are not used, so it is environmentally friendly. Your dental checkups take less time, and it's interesting to watch this system work! Most patients are amazed.
